[Somewhat] Unrealistic Expectations

As of right now, I have three months before I leave for Honduras.  Since time seems to fly by these days the three months will probably end up feeling more like three weeks.  It also doesn't help that I tend to be quite a procrastinator.  So, to keep me on track I will be posting my preparation progress.

The way I see it, there are three categories of preparation: spiritual, agricultural, and cultural.  Hopefully, I will be documenting progress in all three areas.  Here are some things you can  expect...if everything goes as planned, which it most definitely will not.

Spiritual

• what God's teaching me in my daily quite times and Bible studies
• my thoughts on books I'm reading
• random and powerful life lessons

Agricultural

• information about bananas, coffee, beans, and corn
• research on sustainable production methods
• soil analysis stuff

Cultural

• habla espanol
• learning how to play soccer
• recipe book

Those are just a few things I have in mind for each category.  I'm sure they will change around five thousand three hundred and seventy two times.
